Our Scrappin Kit this month is "Happy B-day". I just had to take advantage of all the new photos of my little John David's birth-day. If you have the eyelet border punch, bring it with you to the workshop. I have one, but we will need 2 or 3 for it to go fast. Double click on the photo for more details, All paper and Stickers in this kit use the new Crushed Curry, Brocade Blue, Certainly Celery, Ruby Red. The Whisper white is extra. If you have some on hand, you may want to bring it. Get started choosing your photos! Happy Scrappin'. See you on Sept 13 at 2pm.

This is a piece if Designer Series Paper that comes in the kit, The photos were matted and the stickers are in the kit. Side photos were trimmed to 3x3 and matted with 3 1/4x 3 1/4 bordering blue card stock. All of this was placed on top of white to really pop.

Here we have a double page spread. The "happy" stickers are so cool. The only thing that I did was inked the edges of the P since it was the same color as the back ground. The eyelet trim was done with the eyelet border punch.

again border is done with eyelet border punch. All other embellishments in the kit.

Here we use crushed curry, DSP and the Big Shot top note die cut to make this cute page. remember that you can double click on the photo for a closer look. All stickers and borders are in the kit.

Becky added bing to her border with dazzeling diamonds...you all know how I feel about DD!

Her border, tag and journal box are also very versitle and colorful too! Love the scalloped edge too! Whahooo Becky!

Robin and Kristi came up with this Mr Turkey for thanksgiving. He is made out of Stampin'Up punches. LOVE IT!

Lori Rogers was the bomb with her back to school border and journal box. Cant wait to add photos to these cuties.

Jane made her theme "Snow Days" Dont you just love the snowflakes that she included. The journal box is way cute! Fabulous Jane!

Sneek Peek of Our First Border Swap

this is Donna's creation. She left her border and matching journal box very generic, ( which I love, that way I can add my own title and journaling)

She included photo mats and a ribbon. Good Job Donna!

Leftovers????

do you have leftovers from your Simply Scrappin Kits? Then Make some cards!

I am looking forward to our next Happy Scrappin' meeting. I have decided to make my "theme" My Garden. The border on this page was made with a 3x12 strip of solid cardstock and layered with a 2 1/2 inch strip of Designer series paper. We will use one the Big Shot to cut out the lattice piece at the top. All other embellishments are in the kit.

This page was done using a 12x12 piece of Designer series paper and a 8x11 pc of chocolate chip card stock. The dragon fly was stamped on card stock and then layered on one of the stickers that come in the SSK,

Notice that I have chosen pictures that are horizontal and vertical vertical. The birds nest in the middle of the page is stamped and colored with markers. All other accessories come in the kit.

this page was done by simply trimming 4x6 photos to 4x 5 3/4 and matting with 4 1/4 and 6" card stock. All paper and accessories are included in the Simply scrappin kit,
